GigaLibrary - Online

For the last several years my father has been working feverishly to locate, find, scan and check public domain books. Books have been his passion all of his life and he has the thick classes to prove it. He can read faster then the guys on the commerical's who advertise how to teach yourself fast reading.
Over the last couple of months I have been working on a website to allow people to read, download and search those books so far I have uploaded over 3,000 books but my dads collection is over 150,000 books that I will be uploading over the next 6 months. My hope that through adsense and paypal that the website will generate enough revenue to make his life more comfortable as he has given so much to me.
He fostered my interest in computers, reading and science fiction. While I was learning computers I fried various components including 3 (386) motherboards. When I graduated high school he and my mom lent me the bulk of the college fund to allow me to attend one of those tech schools to get my MCSE which started my career working with computers and they didn't push me to go the more traditional route by starting with university.
I've created this blog to promote the website but also to talk about and link to the various books as they are uploaded and talk about different ideas on promoting and getting people access to books and hopefully movies and music later. So feel free to check out the site at http://www.gigalibrary.com.
The first highlight I wanted to post is that we have about 30 books from Frank L Baum which is the author of the Wizard of Oz books. Click the link if you would like to see the selection we have.

"Some one must sweep it," replied Ann's younger sister, Salye, "else we shall soon be wading in dust. And you are the eldest and the head of the family." "I'm Queen of Oogaboo," said Ann proudly. "But," she added with a sigh, "my kingdom is the smallest and the poorest in all the Land of Oz." This was quite true. Away up in the mountains, in a far corner o...
